Club Synopsis
Amnesty International is an international non-profit organization and the largest one that advocates for human rights around the world. Amnesty and its 3 million members have been most notable in freeing political rights activists from prison in countries around the world. The MMU chapter focuses on engaging students in these causes, participates in letter-writing campaigns, lobbying politicians for action, and learning more about human rights causes. Anyone with an interest in human rights can join.
- Meetings: Once per week in Mr. Popkin's room.
