MMU Unified Update:
CONGRATS to the Unified Soccer team for WINNING the GOLD medal at the 2017 School Unified Soccer Tournament. The team won the tournament on goal differential to take home 1st place! The tournament took place at Norwich University on October 16th. This competition includes schools from throughout Vermont. Athletes and partners have the ability to compete in 5 per side team soccer or individual skills.
In May, we had a number of GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE medal teams at the Special Olympics State Bocce tourney at the Complex in St. Albans. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and had a GREAT time in their final event of the school year!

By pairing peers with and without disabilities on the same team, students are given the opportunity to build more inclusive schools. Unified Sports promotes equality on and off the field. At MMUHS, our team partners with another athletic team for our practices and for our competitions. Our athletes develop relationships with their peers through the excitement of competition and team experiences.

- We practice 2 times per week, ending at 4:30pm
- Competitions are coordinated by Special Olympics Vermont
