Theatre Department

The MMU Theatre Department produces theatre throughout the entire school year.

In the fall we produce a Straight Play, in the winter we put on Student Directed Scenes and One-Acts.

We produce a spectacular musical in the spring, and we close the school year with the Senior Theatre Production (a show produced and performed by Seniors).

The Spring Musical was SO FETCH!

Raise your hand if you think the whole cast and crew of Mean Girls are grool!! (I meant to say cool and then I started to say great...)

The Student Directed Scenes and One-Acts were a blast!

This year 6 directors were in charge; Verity Thomson, Sam Acus, Flora Jean Hart, Emily Bandy, Henry Menke and Gabriel Pfaff. This group of 6 directors wrote a series of 9 scenes, one of which was a musical composed by Sam Acus.

The Fall Play was rather silly...

Monty Python's Edukational Show Poster

This year's fall theatre production was the uproarious Monty Python's Edukational Show. (And yup, "educational" is misspelled. What else would you expect from Monty Python?) The show featured all of the most hilarious and memorable Monty Python songs and sketches of all time. Like: The Ministry of Silly Walks, Dead Parrot, Bring Out Your Dead, The Spam Song, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, and The Spanish Inquisition!
