Spawned by a total eclipse of the sun, a new breed of plant life that feeds on human flesh and blood is discovered by dorky flower shop assistant, Seymour Krelborn. Seymour names the plant Audrey II as an homage to his coworker, Audrey. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling flower shop, which greatly pleases his boss, Mr. Mushnik. But the plant’s need for food grows and Seymour turns to Audrey’s boyfriend, a sadistic dentist, to help satisfy the plant’s seemingly unquenchable appetite.

(This comic horror musical is fun for the whole family, but please be aware that some young children may find the large plant puppets scary.)

Student Written & Directed Scenes: Comedic Gold

In December, six student directors brought a wide range of original comedy scenes to the MMU stage, and a ball was had by all. We'll be quoting "That One Teacher" and "A Completely Ordinary Memorial Service" for ages. Why not grab some Gaslight Juice and watch another episode of Adventures in Space and/or Time?

The MMU Theatre Department produces theatre throughout the entire school year.

In the Fall - we produce a Straight Play, in the winter we put on Student Directed Scenes and One-Acts.

We produce a spectacular Musical in the Spring, and we close the school year with The Senior Theatre Production (a show produced and performed by Seniors).
