At MMU, we believe that participation in athletics is a privilege. We believe that studies come first and that the values and attitudes learned in athletics contribute to the complete education of the individual. Moral, emotional and social developments are particularly important contributions of athletics, and it is to these ends that athletics must direct a great part of their efforts. It is also recognized that the positive value of athletics is directly related to the quality of leadership. The personal example of everyone connected with our program will do much to assure its success.
We have moved to an ONLINE REGISTRATION for our student-athletes! We use the RankOneSport web base, which will also be the way injuries are communicated throughout an athlete's athletic journey at MMU. There are two different sections that will be required to complete in order to be eligible to participate: (1) Athletics Participant Form and (2) Policies & Procedures (included in that is our Co-Curricular Procedures & Guidelines).
As a parent, you have two options to complete these forms: (1) Create a parent account (easier option) OR (2) Complete the forms without an account
Parent App: There is an app for the students, parents, and community members. The app can be found by searching for "Rank One Sport Public." There is no charge.
Student Athletes will NOT be allowed to participate in practice or try-outs if they do not have a current physical on file. Physicals are valid for TWO years. If you are in need of scheduling a physical quickly, please contact your primary care physician's office. If you need information on getting a walk-in physical, you can try Kristen Taylor, the school nurse at 858-1769; however, Kristen does NOT actually do the physical. Physical paperwork can be found by simply asking your doctor's office.
If you have any other questions concerning the required forms needed before participating in the athletic program at MMUHS, please feel free to contact the Activities Director.
