We are a group of globally minded students interested in volunteerism through service work. We travel to assist those in need and promote cultural citizenship along the way.
In 2023, Impact in India found students visiting schools, soup kitchens, and wildlife sanctuaries to engage in service-learning initiatives while soaking up the vibrant and impactful culture of the country. Next year, students will be traveling to a remote village in Thailand to work on a marine conservation project. Activities include setting and collecting crab traps; making structures to add to the coral reef system to aid in the protection of fish, and the elusive dugong, from predators; and assisting in a reforestation project of planting seagrass and mangrove trees.
