Welcome to the Student Support Services Department!
Here at Mt. Mansfield Union High School we are devoted to equipping students with appropriate skills necessary for transition to post-secondary education, vocation or adult services. We have a team of highly qualified special educators and educational support staff who provide a range of services to eligible students designed to meet their individual needs. These services may include academic, social, and behavioral supports provided in an atmosphere where:
- Students feel a strong sense of belonging to their school and classroom
- Students are able to maintain their self esteem
- Students understand who they are as learners
Our faculty consists of both general education and intensive needs special educators, a speech language pathologist and two 504 coordinators. Additionally, we have a talented team of educational support staff who encourage students to become successful learners while gaining independence as they progress toward graduation and beyond.
