News from your MMU Counselors:
Happy Fall! The Student Services office has a new look this year and is also home to the new “Cougar Calm Den”. This room is intended to provide a temporary space for students to engage in self-calming efforts or self-regulation to be able to return to class ready to re-engage in learning. If students are needing to utilize the room, they will arrive at Student Services and follow a check in and check out procedure.

We are really glad to partner with Centerpoint again this year to provide the MMU Community the opportunity to access individualized support and consultation that is focused on caregiving for adolescents. Please see this Caregiver Consultation Flier for more information.

A note about Driver's Ed:
Each year we get many questions about how to register for driver's education at MMU. The first thing students need to do in order to get on our driver's ed list is to bring their permit to Student Services to be copied. This makes one eligible for the class. Each semester, we schedule the oldest students whose permits are on file.
